MERIDIAN, Idaho– A small pet in Idaho had a close phone call with a hawk.
KBOI-TV records River City Veterinary Hospital in Meridian aided the pet dog, Rocky, recover recently after he had a scuffle with a hawk in shrubs.
The hawk flew away, and Rocky had a number of wounds as well as slits in his chest and also sides. The animal healthcare facility also treated a deep laceration with Rocky’s tongue.
Vet Keaton Cuthbert states Rocky and also his proprietors are lucky the hawk really did not fly away with the pet, particularly provided its small size.
