NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WPRI)– The owner of a North Smithfield pet day spa arrested earlier this year on animal ruthlessness charges is currently wanted by Rhode Island State Police for violating the regards to his bond.
An arrest warrant has been issued for John Froais, according to the R.I. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
The RISPCA said it executed a search warrant on Tuesday at his pet health club, “Doggie Styles,” with help from state authorities and the state veterinarian. They were acting upon a tip that six French bulldog pups looking for vet care were at the Sayles Hill Road company.
The trash was confiscated and immediately checked out by a qualified vet, the RISPCA stated, adding that the young puppies are not up for fostering and also their problems are being kept currently.
