Petition to shut down SNOWFLAKE PET CENTER (Vet hospital and kennel) in Milford Connecticut for owner false advertising as a veterinary doctor, animal loss, abuse and neglect.

recipient: Animal rescue, Milford, CT
In October 2017, a cat who was boarding at Snowflake Pet Center and vet hospital, was noted to be ill. The owner of the hospital, Bob Mickolyzck, laughed and joked about it with the actual vet on duty, Dr. Laura Nerone and the unlicensed veterinary nurse with falsified training, Will Garcia. The facility owner sent messages to the cat’s owner as he ignored the situation, not taking action and allowing the cat to become critical. The cat was left over several days and finally had to be transported to a critical care facility for treatment for the near death state he was allowed to progress to. Within two weeks, a rare, exotic bird belonging to the same owner, mysteriously vanished from the boarding facility. Previously the owner of the facility had stated he “needed money for the electric bill” as he attempted to harass the owner of the pets he was boarding on a daily basis. Despite having constant contact with the pets owners, the kennel owner became irate when his business was mentioned in a simple social media post containing the last location, (Snowflake Pet Center, Milford, Connecticut) the missing bird was seen. The owner of the facility then disconnected from the pets owner and 2 days later, was notified of an online post containing a not yet received certified letter stating that Snowflake Pet Center was considering her pets now “abandoned” despite trying to reach the facility and its owner and being blocked and repeatedly disconnected. Within days, a hate page was designed dedicated to the bird’s owner containing false information and doctored photos and sent to the owner’s family, friends and relatives and coworkers as well as made public. The harassment by the owner and his family continues daily. The facility has not helped look for the bird and has retaliated by posting malicious and false information about the pets owner in an attempt to discredit and redirect attention. It was later disclosed that this animal facility did not have the proper insurance to cover such a loss. Since the “initial” incidents, another dog boarding at the facility had gone missing and was later found decapitated on the nearby train tracks. Since investigating the incidents and the history of this boarding and veterinary facility, it was found that the owner of the establishment, Bob Mickolyzck, had been advertising himself as a veterinary medical doctor, in an attempt to fool the public into believing the facility was owned by a trained, licensed and educated veterinary doctor, and the house on the property is occupied by the business owner deeming himself a veterinarian. The advertisements have been on the internet for many years and unsuspecting clients have been made to believe this individual is educated in the field of vet med, when in actuality the incidents have uncovered deceit and fraud for many years. Many animals have been neglected and abused while suffering at this facility. We have been working with the Federal Trade Commission and the state Department of Agriculture and the state Department of Public Health as to how this facility has been allowed to remain open with the negligence, abuse and fraud which has been committed. This facility has also been cited for purposely vaccinating, then euthanizing strays and charging the state/city double. We look to have the facility closed and prosecute this business run by this family. We are looking to protect the animals and prevent any additional abuse, loss and suffering which has already occurred.
