Pony is “looking great” after bear pinned it at Gentry Safari
A miniature pony pinned to the ground by a bear on Sunday is all right, according to a spokesperson for Wild Wilderness Drive-Through Safari in Gentry.
A visitor at the park took video of the experience. The horse was not hurt yet additional information would certainly need to be released by somebody else at the firm, a staff member said Tuesday. Verification from the Siloam Springs Veterinary Hospital is being looked for yet no comment is offered yet.
The Safari company released a statement on its Facebook page: “Piper, the pony, is looking excellent after her bear experience the other day. The vet said she is in good problem without any injuries. Many thanks so much for your concerns! We are performing an interior review.”

The tourist attraction resumed in March after paying a $75,000 penalty and working out grievances with the U.S. Department of Agriculture in June 2018.
The 400-acre destination has more than 800 unique animals including tigers, monkeys, wildebeests and also kangaroos. It consists of a four-mile drive-through loophole.
