This GDPR Notice supplements our Privacy Notice for visitors in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), United Kingdom, or Switzerland. Where it conflicts with the general Privacy Notice, this notice controls for you.
1. Controller
The controller of your personal data is Local Value, LLC DBA Vetsnear.me, a fictitious-business-name of Local Value, LLC, located at 2305 Historic Decatur Road #100, San Diego, CA 92106. Email: legal@vetsnear.me.
We have not currently appointed an EU representative under GDPR Article 27. If you have a complaint we cannot resolve, you may also contact your national supervisory authority.
2. Legal bases
We process your personal data under the following legal bases (GDPR Article 6):

3. Your GDPR rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data (Art. 15)
- Rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") (Art. 17)
- Restrict processing (Art. 18)
- Data portability (Art. 20)
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing
- Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority
To exercise any of these rights, email legal@vetsnear.me — we will respond within one month, with a possible extension where permitted by law.
4. International transfers
Personal data is transferred to the United States and stored on our subprocessors' infrastructure there. For transfers from the EEA / UK / Switzerland to the United States, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914) executed with our subprocessors. Copies are available on request.
5. Automated decision-making
We do not subject you to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects (GDPR Article 22).
6. Retention
See the retention schedule in the Privacy Notice § 6. We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
